The regional integration process is not limited to economic integration, but also requires social and cultural integration of the region’s countries. Therefore, the leadership and experience provided by social, union, intermediate and community organizations is deemed fundamental.

With a view to contributing to the regional integration process within the framework of MERCOSUR —in particular— and Latin America —in general—, as well as generating a fruitful exchange between officials and the community, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship coordinates the activities of the Civil Society Consultative Board (CCSC). This space promotes participation by community organizations, unions, non-governmental organizations, universities, social movements, cooperatives and intermediate entities with the aim of coordinating activities and debates that may enable cooperation in the implementation of Argentina’s foreign policy and the course of the regional integration process.
